My own pre-teen kids are both quite athletic, but they also don't engage in standard stick-and-ball sports. As a replacement, they go for extreme pursuits like skateboarding, snow boarding, and dirt biking. These kind of sports are just as good regarding establishing coordination, self-confidence, and self-esteem as tennis or soccer, so I completely support my kid's selections in any way I can. The truth is, if I wasn't able to save something like 20 to 60 percent on each purchase, my kids would probably need to get involved in completely different activities.

Anyhow, if your teens are into non-traditional sporting activities like my own are, I really hope you're supporting their choices. It may be tough to invest in all the correct gear, but with a little checking around on the web, you can get quite a few amazing deals, too. That's the least to do for your potential X-Games gold medallist!
